Martín Solares is a Mexican writer, critic and editor. He holds a doctorate in Iberian and Latin American Studies from the University of Paris. Solares’ first book, THE BLACK MINUTES, is a crime fiction thriller, and was shortlisted for the Rómulo Gallegos International Novel Prize. In 1998, Martin’s short story, “El Planeta Cloralex,” received the Efrain Huerto National Literary Award.
