Here at The Latina Book Club we continue our
celebration of Three Kings’ Day/ Los Tres Reyes Magos. We found another great book for our readers;
this one in Spanish.
LAS ESTRELLAS DE LOS REYES MAGOS celebrates our
Latino heritage and language. It was a
winner at the 2016 International Latino Book Awards. Readers of all ages will
enjoy the enchanting tale about a boy and his grandfather sharing the
importance of Three Kings’ Day.
Book Summary:
It was a beautiful night. The sky was clear and full of stars. Benjamin
could distinguish three in particular that twinkled more than the others. With
the help of his grandfather, Benjamin discovers the magical story behind these
stars and the tradition of the Day of the Three Kings.
