The Latina Book Club is celebrating Valentine’s & Galentine's Days all week long.
Each day we will feature a new Latina romance author for your reading pleasure.
Enjoy and remember to Read Latino Lit and Read Romance.

DID YOU KNOW?!
A true Romance Statistic: 84% of women read romance novels according to Nielsen.
Women romance readers are between 30-54 years of age and
some have been reading romance for over 20 years.
Men read romances too -- 16% of them.

Meet Priscilla Oliveras.

She writes contemporary romance novels with a Latino flavor that are well-written and full of fun and welcoming characters.

Priscilla is half Mexican; half Puerto Rican. It was her Dad – not a typo! – who introduced her to romance novels while they were waiting in a hurricane shelter in the Florida Keys.

Viola! A devoted romance reader was born. Years later, while in college Priscilla decided to try her hand at writing her own romance novel.  Since then, she has written five romances, had two more kids, and earned one bachelor and two master degrees.  She is a member of the Romance Writers of America, and teaches a 6-week Romance Writing course in Florida. Priscilla has a sexy, warm-hearted romance series – Matched to Perfection – about three very different Latina sisters, who need to figure out if their path to success can also lead to everlasting love.

Zebra Books

Book 1, HIS PERFECT PARTNER, made a stunning and dramatic debut. The romance is between a cynical ad executive, Tomás Garcia, and his daughter’s alluring dance teacher, Yazmine Fernandez.  “Readers will laugh and cry and be uplifted,” said RT Book Reviews, who awarded the book 4 stars!

Book 2, HER PERFECT AFFAIR, will hit the shelves and e-readers in April.  This time, big sister Rosa Fernandez decides to let her hair down at her sister’s wedding and seduce her high school crush.  You gotta read what happens next!   And we can’t wait for Book 3!

The Latina Book Club wishes you a Happy Valentine’s and Galentine’s Day and many hours of joyful reading.
